Rosenborg BK secured an important 3-1 away victory against Kristiansund BK in Eliteserien round 22. Freyr Alexandersson's side came from behind with goals from Mads Bomholt, Noah Sahsah and top scorer Amin Chiakha.

The match began evenly, but it was the hosts who struck first after half an hour. Jesper Isaksen set up David Tufekcic to score. Rosenborg's response was immediate, with midfielder Mads Bomholt equalising just two minutes later to make it 1-1.

After the break, Rosenborg took control. Five minutes into the second half, Noah Sahsah finished a good team move to put his side 2-1 ahead. Kristiansund pressed for an equaliser, but Rosenborg's defence and goalkeeper Leo Wahlstedt, who made five saves, held firm. The comeback was completed eight minutes from time when Adrian Nilsen Pereira found Amin Chiakha in space. Chiakha, who now has 12 goals in 20 appearances this season, slotted home for 3-1 to secure the points.

Manager Freyr Alexandersson said it was a solid away performance, praising his team's mental strength after conceding and their improved control in the second half.

The win keeps Rosenborg in sixth place in the Eliteserien with 30 points. The team is now on a four-game winning streak ahead of their next fixture.

Rosenborg's next challenge is a home match against Sandefjord on October 10th. Carrying this momentum, the team approaches that game with confidence. The full upcoming schedule is available on our fixtures page.
