Rosenborg BK delivered a dominant performance to crush HamKam 4-0 in an Eliteserien match at Lerkendal. Emil Konradsen Ceide found the back of the net after just 16 seconds, and the team built on that supremacy to secure their sixth win since the summer break.

With this victory, Rosenborg sit sixth in the Eliteserien with 27 points from 19 games, having scored 31 goals this season. The team faces a challenging fixture against third-placed Tromsø next weekend, however, and must cope without several key players currently on the injury list.

It took only 16 seconds for Rosenborg to take the lead. Emil Konradsen Ceide confirmed the action himself: "Bare 16 sekunder var spilt da Emil Konradsen Ceide rundet HamKams keeper Marcus Sandberg og plasserte ballen over streken i det åpne buret." This set the tone for a first half where Rosenborg dominated with 77 percent possession in the opening 30 minutes.

The fast start was a clear sign of the team's intensity and tactical preparation under coach Freyr Alexandersson. HamKam, who were just one point behind Rosenborg before the match, never found their footing. After the final whistle, the gap between the teams had widened to four points, underlining the importance of this win in the middle of the table.

Amin Chiakha was the standout performer of the match with two goals. Six minutes into the second half, Noah Sahsah made it 2-0, and just seven minutes later came Chiakha's first. He struck from around 22-23 meters out, scoring his 10th league goal of 2026. That made him the sole top scorer in the Eliteserien.

Chiakha wasn't done, adding his second goal in the 76th minute to secure the final 4-0 scoreline. His performance is a key part of the team's offensive strength this autumn. For a full overview of player statistics, you can visit our stats page.

This victory marks Rosenborg's sixth win since the season resumed after the summer break. Before the break, the team was second from bottom, but under Freyr Alexandersson's leadership there has been a dramatic turnaround. Alexandersson was named the Eliteserien Manager of the Month for August, a recognition of his work.

The win against HamKam was particularly significant as it had been 20 years since the visitors last won at Lerkendal. Rosenborg's recent form over the last three matches is two wins and one loss. They still trail league leaders Bodø/Glimt by 20 points, however, showing there is a long way to the top.

Despite the good form, Rosenborg must manage without several key players. On the injury list are striker Dino Islamović, midfielder Iver Fossum, defender Johan Johanessen Bakke, and the experienced Jonas Svensson. This tests the squad's depth ahead of the meeting with a strong Tromsø side.

Rosenborg BK's next assignment is a home fixture against Tromsø, who are in third place, on September 12. The match will be an important test of the team's ambitions to climb closer to the top of the Eliteserien.
