Rosenborg BK's board has decided not to step down after a demand from over 50 members to hold an extraordinary general meeting. - The board will express that NIF's law and Rosenborg's bylaws state that the board collectively is responsible for the decisions and priorities the club takes. The time for the meeting has not yet been determined. The election committee has been put in action. The current board expects the extraordinary meeting to take place in August/September. RBK's leadership has considered waiting until the coach's question is decided, but now wants Rosenborg as a club to clear up the situation regardless of whether Alfred Johansson's replacement is ready or not. - We are the responsible board in Rosenborg and will continue the process forward, replied Odd Einar Landsem to questions from the press. The board has decided to put their seats up for disposal, the club announced in a press release earlier Monday. The background is a demand from the club's own members to hold an extraordinary general meeting. In the press release it is stated: «The board is in a meeting with individual members made aware that there are more than 50 member signatures behind the demand. The board sees no reason to doubt the validity of the demand and has therefore, in accordance with Rosenborg's bylaws, a duty to call an extraordinary general meeting». The demand is according to the board of such a character that they have made a decision to call an extraordinary general meeting and put their seats up for disposal.
